Workforce Insights
In the USA alone, more than 165 million workers have LinkedIn profiles, and more that 20,000 companies use LinkedIn to recruit. Using the social media site’s vast treasure trove of data, LinkedIn’s Economic Graph team of data scientists and economists recently looked at USA hiring patterns for 57 different C-suite jobs.
Some key C-suite findings?
- Chief Growth Officer is increasing in popularity faster than any other title.
- Many industries are expanding the C-suite to address their most chronic operating challenges.
- Everyone wants Chief People Officers.

The trend continues! Charlotte is once again listed in LinkedIn’s latest Workforce Report as one of the three U.S. cities that gained the most professionals in October 2019.

LinkedIn’s June Workforce Report
LinkedIn publishes a monthly report on employment trends in the U.S. workforce. The report provides helpful insights into hiring, skills gaps, and migration trends across the country, From a migration perspective, LinkedIn captures insights tied to members who change their locations on their profiles.
