Yesterday Bloomberg’s Trade and Supply Chain expert, Brendon Murray, was interviewed where he reported that the tariffs-related steep decline in cargo shipments from China to the USA could lead to the following:

  • Empty store shelves
  • Higher prices
  • Significant layoffs in industries such as trucking, logistics and retail

Could “Covid-like” shortages be on the way?
